September 26, 2014 - SDS Awarded a Contract to Provide Travel Coordinator Support to the US Army Health Facility Planning Agency

SDS International (SDS) has been awarded a contract by Headquarters U.S. Army Health Facility Planning Agency (USAHFPA), Falls Church, VA to perform a full range of standard administrative travel support for the Headquarters, subordinate divisions, and remotely located Health Facility Project Offices. SDS tasks include: Prepare travel orders for CONUS and OCONUS trips; prepare country clearance memorandums for OCONUS travelers in accordance with Federal and Army guidelines; Coordinate with the Secretary of Defense, theater, and country clearances for OCONUS travelers; Review and edit travel orders in the Defense Travel System (DTS) in accordance with appropriate regulations; Coordinate and make travel arrangements using DTS in accordance with approved TDY requests and federal guidance; Ensure travelers have complete packets for travel, to include travel orders, tickets and itineraries; Review all travel requests to ensure completeness of submittal; Prepare travel vouchers in DTS in accordance with standard operating procedures to make sure all required information and original receipts are provided; Input Temporary Duty Orders into the PERSTEMPO system; Assist in the processing of Official Government Passport requests.
